Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract, with flexibility to work across multiple surgical service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics.

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
• Supports multiple surgical service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics
• Day/Evening shift: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience required
• Ability to work both within and outside the sterile field as assigned
• Proficiency with computer systems used in patient care delivery

Additional Information

• Performs all circulating duties with efficiency
• Prepares the OR and positions patients on the operating table prior to procedures
• Completes Safe Surgery checklist verification in accordance with service excellence standards
• Delegates, supervises, and evaluates activities of other team members as needed
• Serves as a communication liaison between the operating team and patient families
• On-call participation is required as scheduled
• Flexible RNs comfortable working across multiple service lines are strongly preferred
