Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for an acute care hospital MRI unit in California, requiring ARRT (MR), ARRT (R), a CA Radiologic Technologist license, and a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital MRI unit
- 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Required call: 8 shifts per month, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with a 30-minute response time
- 13-week contract
- GE short bore MRI equipment (24x software)
- Charting via Cerner (experience preferred)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
- Active ARRT (MR) and ARRT (R) certifications required — pending certifications are not accepted
- Active California Radiologic Technologist state license required — pending licenses are not accepted
- BLS (AHA) required
- ARRT (CT) and Fluoroscopy Permit preferred
- Active driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked (must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire)
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates who have been directly employed full-time, part-time, or PRN by any facility associated with CommonSpirit Health, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible — candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
