Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Neuro Operating Room position requiring neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics experience, along with Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting with a focus on neuro surgical cases
• Neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic surgery cases are performed in this unit
• Schedule options: four 10-hour shifts (0700–1730) or three 12-hour shifts (0700–1930)
• Block scheduling is not available
• On-call required 1–2 times per week, Monday through Thursday, starting after your shift through 0700 the following morning
• Weekend call required twice every six weeks, beginning at end of shift Friday through 0700 Monday — no scheduled weekend shifts outside of call
• Holiday coverage via on-call only, based on department need
• Epic EMR experience is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotics OR experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• 30-minute callback response time required for on-call shifts

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates undergo a clinical pre-screen to assess fit before being forwarded to the manager; a manager interview is required
