Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Case Management/Discharge Planning position in a large academic medical center, requiring active MA licensure and experience in a major teaching hospital setting.

Details

• 40-hour work week, day shift Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Placed within a Primary Care/General Medicine (PCGM) ED Integration unit
• 13-week contract
• Epic used for charting
• UKG/Kronos used for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• At least 6 months of experience in a large organization or teaching hospital with 500+ beds required
• Active MA licensure must be in hand at the time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• 2 professional references required
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Focus on discharge planning and case management within an ED integration setting
• Primary source verification of professional license is required within 30 days of start date and upon expiration
• Both NURSYS and BON verification are required for nursing licensure
• Candidates who permanently reside within 60 miles of the facility in Boston are considered local and are eligible at a reduced rate
• No validated parking is available at Boston locations; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking lots are available at approximately $17–$22 per day
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
