Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum) night shift position requiring at least 2 years of L&D and Mother/Baby experience and active MO or compact licensure.
Details
- LDRP unit with 8 LDRP beds and 8 postpartum beds in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- Patient population includes antepartum, triage, labor & delivery, recovery, postpartum, and well newborns in mother/baby couplet care
- Labor patient ratio is 1:1
- Required to work every 3rd weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required to Labor, Mother Baby, Copalite, and Postpartum units
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS and NRP
- Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required
- Experience in both L&D and Mother/Baby (couplet care) is required
- Must be able to circulate Cesarean sections in the OR
- Must be able to care for well newborns in a Mom/Baby couplet setting
- No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include caring for women in antepartum, triage, labor & delivery, recovery, and postpartum, as well as well newborn care in Mom/Baby couplet and circulating C-sections in the OR
- Candidate should be autonomous and able to function independently
- Blue OR scrubs required
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but are subject to a reduced bill rate
- Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
- RTO of up to 5 days is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless documented renewal is already scheduled
