Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift position at a short-term acute care Level III trauma center that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System.
Details
- Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- MRI unit with potential to float to a sister facility as needed
- 5x8 evening shifts from 2:15 PM to 11:15 PM
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- Charting system is Epic
- Free parking available on site
Requirements
- ARRT (MRI) certification required; state license required if applicable
- BLS required
- Experience in a short-term acute care hospital setting required
- Flu vaccination is mandatory; declinations are not accepted
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
- Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- The facility may auto-approve up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
- Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
