Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an acute care hospital position treating patients with stroke, orthopedic, and mobility-related diagnoses.

Details

Acute care hospital setting treating patients with diagnoses including mild stroke, weakness, gait impairments, fractures, and orthopedic surgeries
All trauma cases are transferred out of the facility
Day shift schedule working 4x10-hour shifts, Friday through Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
16-week contract

Requirements

Current, active state OT license required if applicable
NBCOT certification required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience required
Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration

Always floating, no home unit. Schedule can get crazy, don't know your unit until shift start usually. Would be rough for a 1st contract.
