Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiographer with 2+ years of pediatric echo experience and ARDMS RDCS-PE certification for a 22-week travel contract in Boston, MA.

Details

  • Outpatient Pediatric Department with coverage of inpatient, ED, and NICU as needed
  • Average patient ratio of 10 patients per shift
  • Schedule is 4 days per week, 32 hours per week: two 10-hour days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) and two 6-hour days (7:30 AM–2:00 PM)
  • No weekends, no major holidays, and no on-call required
  • Uses Epic Hyperspace with Cadence Scheduling; Epic experience preferred
  • Must be able to work independently, including on Fridays

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a pediatric echocardiographer/cardiac sonographer
  • Active ARDMS RDCS-PE certification required
  • Current BLS required
  • Active MA state license required if applicable
  • Ability to work independently in an outpatient and inpatient coverage setting
  • Must be able to upload Holter monitor and blood pressure device data
  • Two professional references required, at least one from a manager-level or above (not listed as supervisor), with one evaluation within the past 12 months and one within the past 3 years
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform pediatric echocardiography in an outpatient setting with cross-coverage to inpatient units, the ED, and NICU as needed
  • Upload and manage Holter monitor and ambulatory blood pressure device data as part of daily responsibilities
  • Fetal echocardiography experience is preferred
  • Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
