Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele/PCU position on day shift, requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and a NH or Compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Med/Surg Tele/PCU unit serving adult medical-surgical and cardiac telemetry patients
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- The defined workweek runs from Sunday at 12:01 AM through Saturday at 11:59 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
- Strong Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Strong mathematical, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessment upon admission, obtaining medical history, reviewing diagnostic results, and contributing to written care plans under physician direction
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
