Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 4-week night shift travel contract at an academic teaching hospital, requiring Philips MRI experience and ARRT or ARMRIT advanced MR licensure.
Details
- Imaging department at an academic teaching hospital
- 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Sunday availability required
- 1–2 weekends per month required
- Must be flexible with schedule; block schedules are not available
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience
- ARRT or ARMRIT with advanced MR licensure required
- Current BLS required
- Philips MRI experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Academic teaching hospital experience required
- Prior travel experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required — at least one from a manager or supervisor within the past 6 months, and one from within the past year of employment
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
Additional Information
- This facility is not accessible by public transportation — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
- This is an immediate-start position
- Candidates holding a NY license will be considered with proof of pending licensure included
- Candidates without Vermont licensure will be considered

Cons
If you don't like the winter don't come. Also parking is very far & you need to take a shuttle to UVMC. Unless you want to pay for daily parking. Cost of living is high, check for housing before you come!
