Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Santa Clara, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least one year of recent L&D experience.

• 13-week contract at a hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit in Santa Clara, CA
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR is used at this facility

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; all licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending licensure not accepted
• Current BLS and Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent L&D experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• BSN or related bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of recent L&D experience (within the last 2 years) preferred
• 1 year of high-risk OB/L&D experience within the last 2 years preferred

• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the same rate as traveling candidates
• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers cannot exceed two years of assignment time within a two-year period without taking a 90-day break — this applies regardless of whether the work was continuous or involved multiple assignments with lapses of less than three months
