Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Home Health position in the North Region (Lynn, Nahant, and Saugus, MA) requiring at least 1 year of certified home care and case management experience.

Details

• Home health setting serving patients across the North Region, including Lynn, Nahant, and Saugus, MA
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required once every 6 weeks
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Epic (charting experience required)
• Floating position requiring travel to patient cases as assigned

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing (BON) verification required for nursing license
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of certified home health experience required
• Minimum 1 year of case management experience required
• Ability to travel independently to assigned patient cases
• Flu vaccine required — no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and providing education and support to patients and families
• Performs admission processes and case management in accordance with MGB Home Care policies and standards of practice
• Requires thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication
• Time keeping system: UKG/Kronos
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are accepted
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public parking is available at daily rates ranging from $17–$22; other locations in the region may also have associated parking costs
