Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac/Med-Surg travel assignment in Nashville, TN, requiring at least 2 years of med/surg experience and an active TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Located on the 4th Floor Cardiac/Nephrology unit of an acute care hospital in Nashville, TN
- 34-bed unit serving cardiac and nephrology patient populations
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Unit is supported by a unit secretary on day shift and PCTs on all shifts
- Documents using Meditech EMR
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend requirement of 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Floating to other departments required based on census needs
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license — TN state license or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
- Minimum 2 years of recent med/surg RN experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSN accepted
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Navy scrubs are required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
