Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
- Level 2 Cath Lab performing diagnostic and PCI procedures
- EP Lab procedures include device changeouts, upgrades, ICD, and pacemaker implants
- Vascular angiogram and basic IR procedures also performed
- Patient diagnoses include AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, EP devices, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD
- Specialized equipment includes Impella, IABP, temporary pacemaker, shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR
- Epic EMR — experience required
- Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm (4x9.5-hour shifts)
- On-call required approximately one night per week and every 4th weekend
Requirements
- Active OH or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCI RCIS certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs nursing care for Cath Lab, EP Lab, vascular angiogram, and basic IR procedures
- Call requirements may vary based on candidate skill set
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- No 30-day break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (exception applies to Sterile Processing Techs)
