Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and a night shift schedule across PCU/stepdown units.
Details
- Float Pool position covering PCU and stepdown areas, with potential to float to other campuses including Ross Heart, Brain & Spine, and Dodd
- Patient population spans various PCU/stepdown acuity levels
- Estimated patient ratio of 1:3-4
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- May be required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Proficiency with IV insertion and telemetry monitoring required
- Epic EMR experience required

- No 30-day break between assignments is required to change representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs)
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
- A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
