Description

American Traveler is hiring a multi-modality Imaging Technologist (CT, MRI, X-Ray) with a minimum of 1 year of experience for a 13-week weekend-focused travel contract in Colorado.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department
• Covers multiple modalities including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and general radiography/X-ray
• Schedule is 3x12-hour weekend day shifts per week, with occasional call and possible night shifts per department rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience across CT, MRI, and radiologic technologist modalities
• Active BLS/BCLS and ACLS required
• ARRT certification required in one or more of the following: R, CT, RT, or N
• State license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Operates and maintains X-ray, fluoroscopic, C-arm, CT, and MRI equipment across multiple imaging modalities
• Performs CT-guided interventional assistance including biopsies, injections, and drainages under radiologist direction
• Administers or assists with contrast media as ordered by the radiologist
• Responsible for quality control across all assigned imaging modality areas
• Conducts MRI safety screenings by interviewing patients and monitoring for metal objects prior to scans
• Assists with patient transport, positioning, and scheduling coordination across modalities
• Participates in training of radiology students
• Maintains cleanliness, restocking, and compliance with all Federal, State, and DNV standards across imaging areas
