Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg travel assignment on an Acute GI Medicine Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work setting is an acute care hospital GI/Medical-Surgical unit
- 34-bed Gastrointestinal (GI) and COVID Medical/Surgical unit with all private rooms and telemetry capability
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with GI and general medical/surgical conditions
- Telemetry monitoring capability available on unit
- Schedule is 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff of this facility must have at least a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
