Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Acute Medicine Unit (PCU/Step-Down) in a hospital setting
- Progressive Care/Step-Down or Intermediate Care patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care, Step-Down, or Intermediate Care experience
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff who became travelers must have a 2-year break before returning to this facility as a traveler
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
