Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and inpatient/ER background for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Florida.
Details
- Work in the CT department of a 210-bed acute care hospital
- Inpatient and ER patient populations
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call is required on occasion
- Charting in Meditech; experience preferred
- PACS experience preferred
- Travelers must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Inpatient and ER experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- Florida State license required if applicable
- ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- IV start experience preferred
- Contrast administration experience preferred

- Position may involve care of COVID-positive patients
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable; no logo/emblem

Cons
Management tends to micromanage, which can impact autonomy. Additionally, when case volume is low, staff may be sent home early, making it difficult to consistently complete scheduled hours. Supplies are tightly controlled through the PICS system, which can sometimes slow down workflow.
