Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of CT experience for a night shift travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 4 CT scanners on-site
• Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, neuro, full body, cancer, stroke, and lung screening cases
• Approximately 100 patients scanned per day across all scanners
• 4x10 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM; schedule subject to change based on business needs
• Weekend work required based on department needs
• On-call is elective only
• Floating within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities is required
• Charting is performed in Epic/Excellian
• 672-bed facility designated as Magnet, Teaching, and Level III Trauma

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• Inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU work setting experience required
• Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
• Experience with GE CT scanners required
• Epic/Excellian EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

• Pre-employment modules are required to be completed prior to start
• Candidates must be absent for a minimum of 3 months from their last shift if previously employed at the facility as permanent staff or per diem
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred
• Solid gray scrubs are required
• Parking is available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
