Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 5 years of experience, charge experience, and on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab department of an acute care hospital setting
• Experience required in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab environments
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• On-call required for approximately 12–14 shifts per 6-week period
• Floating to a nearby sister facility (JMH/VA) required as needed
• Holiday coverage on a rotating basis is expected

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Minimum of 5 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Experience in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area — local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their standard clinical responsibilities
• 13-week contract
