Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care (Med/Surg) position in Wichita, KS, requiring a valid KS or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- 30-bed General Med/Surg Stepdown Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
- Patients are monitored via central monitoring
- Documents using Cerner EMR
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required — must be AHA-issued
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- A valid US Social Security Number and US home address are required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Copy of current certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration
Additional Information
- Ceil blue scrubs required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is preferred but not required
- MOAB De-Escalation Training is preferred but not required
- Local candidates are welcome to apply; a radius rule is in effect which may affect pay rate eligibility
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
