Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a fast-paced acute care setting serving patients from infants to geriatrics, with float responsibilities to diagnostic X-Ray.
Details
- Works across multiple care settings including adult acute care, adult outpatient, ICU, emergency department, and pediatric acute and outpatient environments
- Patient population spans infants through geriatrics
- 4x10 hour evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Every other weekend required, averaging 2 weekends per month
- No on-call requirement
- Float requirement includes assisting with diagnostic X-Ray
- Medication system: Omnicell
- Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Required certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and AHA BLS
- State license required if applicable
- Proficiency with isolation precautions
- Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Ability to start peripheral IVs
- Must be able to work with patient populations ranging from infants to geriatrics
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- RTO is limited due to the short contract length
- This position is located in a high cost-of-living area — candidates are encouraged to research local living costs prior to applying
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
