Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(M) certification for a 13-week travel assignment at an outpatient breast imaging center in Edwards, CO.

Details

• Outpatient breast imaging center setting
• Procedures include diagnostic mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and breast ultrasound biopsy assistance
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• 4x10-hour day shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
• Active ARRT(M) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Must have working knowledge of MQSA and ACR breast imaging guidelines
• Experience with stereotactic equipment and contrast agent protocols required
• Proficiency with computers sufficient to complete online learning, forms, and documentation
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs breast imaging procedures following MQSA and ACR guidelines
• Responsible for quality control documentation to ensure equipment operates within safe limits
• Communicates and educates patients before, during, and after procedures to support continuity of breast health care
• Reviews completed exams for technical accuracy and presents to the radiologist
• Assists with department workflow management, scheduling of breast imaging appointments, and medical supply inventory
• Supports orientation of new employees and participates in breast health education and promotional events
• Must maintain 24 CEU credits per ARRT guidelines every two years
• Must be HIPAA compliant
