Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Gilbert, AZ.
Details
- 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on treatment and recovery from severe injury or illness
- Patients include adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Common diagnoses include neurological conditions, Parkinson's disease, and debility
- Adult acute rehab patient population
- EHR systems include UDS and Cerner
- Monday through Friday shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- One weekend shift required per month
- No call or float requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Current BLS certification (AHA-issued) required
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
- Experience with adult patient populations required
- Acute rehabilitation experience preferred
- Arizona SLP license required if applicable
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide individualized rehabilitation services tailored to patients recovering from neurological and physical conditions
- Burgundy/wine colored scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
