Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Guthrie, OK, requiring 4+ years of experience and active Epic EMR skills.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting located in Guthrie, OK
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12s
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• EMR: Epic
• Floating required as needed
• Weekend and call requirements as determined by the facility
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Active OK RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 4 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg specialty experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and evaluates effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after that, a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• Certifications may not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is already scheduled
