Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a cardiac cath lab travel assignment, open to first-time travelers.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
• Rotating schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) for 6 weeks, followed by 1 week of 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), then back to 4x10s — providing one 4-day weekend every 6 weeks
• Call requirement of 12–14 days per 6-week period, including 1–2 weekends per 6-week period
• Must be able to remain within 30 minutes of the facility while on call
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Active professional licensure required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred
• Must be available to work all scheduled shifts with no alternate shift or schedule requests

• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a travel employee
• RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Holiday coverage is required: if 1 or 2 major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO; if 3 major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work 2 and may request 1 holiday off for approval
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to begin on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
