Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT licensure and required certifications for a 14-week contract at an academic medical center in Kentucky.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an academic medical center
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Late call required once per week (5:30 PM – 7:30 PM)
- One full call shift per week (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 1–2 call weekends per 6-week schedule (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- Epic EHR and McKesson required; Philips Single and Bi-Plane Angiography experience preferred
Requirements
- Active KY ARRT (Rad Tech) license required before start date; pending license acceptable at time of consideration
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- PALS required — must be obtained before start date
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EHR and McKesson required
- Experience with Philips Single and Bi-Plane Angiography preferred
- 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- An EKG onboarding exam is required
- Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
