Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) assignment, requiring at least 1 year of experience and comfort working in an LTAC facility environment.
Details
- LTAC setting focused on restorative and rehabilitative physical therapy
- Day shift schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts
- Clinician may be asked to float within scope to meet facility needs; mileage is reimbursed for float assignments
- Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; 2 years preferred
- Current PT license required; pending state license considered if obtained prior to start
- Current BLS certification required
- Comfort and familiarity with LTAC care settings strongly preferred
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requests made after initial submission will not be considered
- Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
- Orientation includes a pass/fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test; candidates have one opportunity to pass
- Attendance policy is in effect: more than two unexcused absences within a 13-week contract may result in contract review or cancellation
