Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist for an outpatient travel assignment in Jacksonville, IL, with a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active IL PT license required.
Details
- Outpatient setting at a 25-bed Critical Access, Magnet-designated hospital
- Specialty focus on pelvic floor physical therapy, treating both male and female patients
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; no weekends or on-call required
- No floating required within this role
- Cerner EMR used for charting; experience preferred
- 13-week contract with the possibility of extending to 26 weeks
- Opportunity for permanent conversion following the travel contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Active Illinois PT license required; must be in hand or already applied for at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required; AHA or Red Cross accepted (RQI AHA cards not accepted)
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Must be present in Illinois at least 3 business days prior to compliance hard deadline to meet fingerprinting requirements
Additional Information
- Position specializes in pelvic floor evaluation and treatment across a diverse patient population
- Business casual attire or plain solid scrubs required
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space
- Up to 5 days of non-holiday RTO is generally accommodated; requests exceeding 5 days require facility approval
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Local candidates are accepted with no radius requirement
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been away for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travel pairs are not accepted
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
