Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend day shift contract requiring 2+ years of experience, ARRT, and active MD State License.

Details

• Acute care hospital CT department setting
• Adult acute care and adult outpatient patient population
• Procedures include abdomen, chest, and head CT scans (with and/or without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT scanners, as well as PACS
• Saturday and Sunday only, day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (2x12-hour shifts)
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are eligible

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Maryland State License required — license required if applicable
• Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment
• Proficiency with PACS
• Skills required include preparation and/or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Experience in adult acute care and adult outpatient settings

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging of the abdomen, chest, and head with and/or without contrast, as well as musculoskeletal trauma studies
• Responsible for preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
• Flu vaccine required for all facility employees
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
