Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Neuro IR position requiring NIHSS certification and Neuro ICU experience in a 16-week contract role.

Details

  • Neuro Interventional Radiology department in a hospital setting
  • Cares for endovascular patients including angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatment
  • Day shifts, 8 hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Rotational call required on weekdays and weekends
  • Holiday coverage on a rotational basis
  • 16-week contract
  • Charting in Epic

Requirements

  • Active and clear Interventional Radiology Technologist license (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS and ACLS required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Neuro ICU experience required
  • 2+ years of experience in a Neuro IR lab preferred; radiology, IR, or Cath Lab experience also preferred
  • 2 completed professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year required for consideration
  • Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Performs neuro interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stenting, and aneurysm treatment
  • Scrubs/dress code supplied by the facility
