Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Cath Lab experience and an active Ohio or Compact RN license in hand.

Details

  • Hospital-based Cath Lab unit
  • Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • On-call required approximately every other weekend or every third weekend depending on staffing; if not on weekend call, approximately 2 on-call days per week; if on weekend call, 1 additional on-call day that week
  • On-call rotation details will be discussed with the Nurse Manager during the phone screen
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Circulating and documenting experience required

Requirements

  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) Cath Lab experience required prior to any travel experience
  • Experience in circulating and documenting in a Cath Lab setting
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
  • Holiday coverage required — must work at least every other holiday
  • All requirements listed are non-negotiable with no exceptions

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
