Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a variable 4x10 shift assignment at an acute care hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation in Washington, MO.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with a Level III Trauma Center, Level II Stroke Center, and Level II STEMI Center designation
• CT Scan department
• Variable 4x10 hour shifts
• Weekend hours as needed
• Call requirements as needed
• Float requirements as needed
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Active license required, if applicable
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documentation of scheduled renewal is provided
• A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by a radiologist
• Assist the radiologist in special CT procedures and provide patient care essential to CT scan procedures
• Apply principles of radiation protection
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
• Candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
