Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring a CA RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department
- Variable shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts spanning day, evening, and night rotations (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a)
- Every other weekend rotation required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating to other hospital campuses for census support may be required within scope of practice
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Deliver competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practice, unit policies, and standards of care
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former employees or travelers must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
