Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of recent experience in general ultrasound, OB, and vascular for a 13-week day shift assignment in Lewiston, ID.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology/ultrasound department
• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Procedures include abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms, as well as small parts imaging (thyroid, breast, and scrotum) and ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekends on request
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• ARRT or RDMS certification required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only; RCIS certifications not accepted)
• Experience in general ultrasound, OB, and vascular required
• Echo Tech experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school of sonography or radiologic technology
• State license required if applicable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must be current and not expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides timely diagnostic imaging services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• First-time travelers will be considered provided all other requirements are met
