Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position at a Level IV trauma facility in Price, UT, requiring at least 1-2 years of PACU experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• PACU unit in a 39-bed rural community hospital serving Carbon and Emery counties with both inpatient and outpatient surgical services
• Level IV trauma facility accredited by The Joint Commission, recognized as an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Stroke-designated facility
• Patient population spans all age groups; no cardiac or neuro cases
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 5-bed PACU
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Call required 8–10 days per month, including call weekends only
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Medhost

Requirements

• Active UT or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1-2 years of PACU RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Unit-supplied scrubs are provided and must be worn — no personal scrubs permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
