Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 3 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment providing comprehensive PT services in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting in Maine.
Details
- Rehabilitation therapy position within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
- Focus on maximizing patients' functional abilities and independence in partnership with an interdisciplinary care team
- Varied shift schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of physical therapy experience required
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred
- Active Maine PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform well in high-stress situations
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand written instructions in English
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing evaluative and therapeutic procedures under physician or accepted healthcare provider orders, observing all precautions, indications, and contraindications
- Duties include establishing therapeutic plans of care with both short- and long-term patient goals
- Must be a collaborative and supportive team player
