Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 3 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment providing comprehensive PT services in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting in Maine.

• Rehabilitation therapy position within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
• Focus on maximizing patients' functional abilities and independence in partnership with an interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of physical therapy experience required
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred
• Active Maine PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform well in high-stress situations
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand written instructions in English

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing evaluative and therapeutic procedures under physician or accepted healthcare provider orders, observing all precautions, indications, and contraindications
• Duties include establishing therapeutic plans of care with both short- and long-term patient goals
• Must be a collaborative and supportive team player
