Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week inpatient acute care assignment, requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Inpatient acute care setting at a regional medical center
• Traveler will rotate across multiple units including ER, ICU, Med/Surg, and Ortho Center
• 4x10-hour day shifts, Friday through Monday
• Allscripts EMR used in this position
• No on-call requirements
• PTA support staff available Monday through Friday

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Inpatient acute care experience required
• PT degree from an accredited school required
• Current BLS certification required
• Wound care experience preferred; candidates without wound care experience must be willing to complete additional learning outside of work hours
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• 8-hour on-site orientation provided
• Scrubs are required but not provided by the facility; any color scrubs accepted except all black
• 13-week contract with a 13-week assignment length
