Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with neuro and acute care experience for an inpatient acute rehabilitation position at a large hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation unit within a large hospital system
- Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 5x8-hour shifts, Sunday through Thursday schedule
- Complex patient population specializing in CVA, brain injury, SCI, cancer rehab, and complex orthopedic cases
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active California OT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Neuro experience required
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Additional Information
- Large, collaborative rehabilitation team with a complex, high-acuity patient population
- Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
