Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of inpatient rehab or acute care experience for a 13-week travel contract at a specialty hospital setting.

• 13-week contract at a specialty hospital
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Schedule options: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Inpatient rehab or acute care setting

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab or acute care PT experience in a US hospital required
• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active PT state license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• First Aid certification preferred
• CPI certification required for this position
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluation, program planning, and administration of physical therapy treatment to patients across applicable age groups
• Develops individualized, age-appropriate plans of care based on physician referral and PT evaluation findings
• Performs detailed clinical assessments and accurately documents all patient treatment
• Functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team, and must be adaptable to new and changing work assignments
• Must be available to work one holiday if needed
