Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Radiologic Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience and active ARRT (CT) certification for a fast-paced academic training facility in Rochester, MN.
Details
- CT Body unit within a large academic radiology department
- Fast-paced environment with patient-facing responsibilities
- 4x10 hour shifts scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Wednesdays off)
- 40 hours per week
- Charting via Epic
- Siemens CT scanner experience strongly preferred
- Flexibility to work varied shift lengths and times, including evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, with on-call pager response as needed
- On-site work only; no teleworking
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required, and/or 3 completed travel assignments
- Associate's degree in a related field and graduation from an accredited radiography program required
- Active ARRT - Radiography (R) and ARRT - Computed Tomography (CT) certifications required
- Active BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
- Active, non-pending state license required if applicable
- No pending licenses accepted
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and independent working skills required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Additional Information
- Produces high-quality diagnostic CT images in accordance with radiology department standards
- Practices and enforces safety guidelines for patients and support personnel
- Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations and shift assignments
- As a training facility, candidates should expect to participate in training and onboarding of new hires during the contract
- Date of birth required for consideration
- COVID vaccination and booster required
- Travelers who have been on assignment at this facility may remain for up to one calendar year from their initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
