Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist (CT Tech) with a minimum of 2 years of CT experience and ARRT(R) certification for a 13-week travel contract in California.

Details

Work setting is a healthcare district facility performing CT and general diagnostic radiology
Procedures include a wide range of CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations
PACS system used is ERAD
GE CT and diagnostic X-ray equipment on-site
12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule: Sunday/Monday/Tuesday one week, Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday the next
On-call duties required as assigned

Requirements

ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
Active California state license required (license required if applicable)
BLS required
Proficiency with GE CT and diagnostic X-ray equipment preferred

Additional Information

Responsibilities include performing CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures, accurately positioning patients, selecting technical factors, and processing digital images via PACS
Routine equipment maintenance, quality control checks, and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols are expected
Collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals is a key part of the role
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
