Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation unit at a children's hospital, with experience in pediatrics and neuro rehab preferred.

Details

• Inpatient pediatric rehabilitation unit (CIRU) at a children's hospital
• 28-bed unit serving patients with diagnoses including brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cancer rehab
• Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8 hours per shift, 5 shifts per week
• Schedule includes some Saturdays
• No on-call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Georgia OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Pediatric and neuro rehab experience preferred
• 2 professional references preferred for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Must be able to pass a nicotine drug screen
• Flu vaccination required — no exemptions of any kind (medical or religious) will be accepted

Additional Information

• Provide occupational therapy services within an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting
• Patient population includes children with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and cancer diagnoses
• This is a nicotine-free facility; candidates must pass a nicotine screening as part of the drug screen
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exceptions; candidates who cannot receive a flu vaccine should not apply
