Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a DC RN license in hand prior to start, with ACLS/BLS certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of a hospital setting
- 3x12-hour shifts available on both day (6:30–19:00) and night (19:00–6:30) schedules
- Every other weekend is required
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- Floating required to ICU and IMC units
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required (must be in hand prior to start date; proof of pending status acceptable at time of initial consideration)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required
