Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring GYN and General Surgery experience, with weekday/weekend call responsibilities.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
- Surgical specialties include GYN and General Surgery
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Approximately 14 shifts per month
- Weekday and weekend call required
- Robotic surgery experience preferred
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Operating Room RN experience required
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result results in automatic disqualification with no exceptions
- Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
