Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department position in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR: Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA)
• PALS certification preferred (AHA)
• TNCC preferred (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License, 2 professional references, and copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Ceil blue scrubs required
• CPI/MOAB High-Risk training (online portion) must be completed prior to start; on-site portion will be completed during orientation
• A radius rule applies — local candidates may be considered but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
