Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 12-week travel contract in Orange Park, FL, with 2+ years of experience and GE equipment proficiency required for overnight weekend shifts at a Level II trauma center.

Details

• CT Scan department within a 317-bed acute care hospital recognized as a Level II trauma center and Gold Plus Stroke Achievement Award recipient
• Facility features 3 CT scanners (2 GE, 1 Siemens) in the main building
• Standard CT scans performed; no invasive CT procedures required on this shift
• Works closely with the ER team to support trauma, stroke, and timely patient turnaround
• 2 techs staffed on overnight shifts
• Meditech and GE Centricity used for documentation
• Friday through Sunday night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• May float to the main department per facility policy
• Minimal call required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active FL license required if applicable
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• GE CT equipment experience required
• Trauma and stroke experience required
• Terra Recon or reformat experience on another platform preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Florida-based candidates

• Black scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
