Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a busy surgical unit in Chicago, IL, with Epic EMR experience and on-call requirements.
Details
- Works in a busy OR department within a hospital setting in Chicago, IL
- Surgical caseload includes open heart surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and a wide variety of other medical and surgical cases
- Day shift schedule: 06:45–15:15, five 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday
- Shift hours may extend depending on caseload
- On-call required: one night every two weeks and one weekend every six weeks
- Epic EMR used; experience is required
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all from American Heart Association or Red Cross), NIHSS, and DCI/BVP
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
