Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring 2+ years of high-volume L&D experience and an active MD or compact RN license.
Details
- Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit in a hospital setting
- High-volume Labor & Delivery environment
- No scheduling restrictions permitted — must be fully flexible with the facility's schedule
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
Requirements
- Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of recent, high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), EFM, NIHSS, and NRP
- COVID vaccination required — declinations are not accepted and a state record must be provided
- Two supervisory references required: one from within the last 6 months and one from within the last 12 months
- L&D-specific skills checklist required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must be willing to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours if not already held at time of offer
- Candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours if not already held at time of offer
- RTO requests are limited to no more than 5 days for the duration of the contract
